A thought on Dr. SuessOk, this is going to take a little explaining to get the groundwork laid for this, but bear with me, ok?A thought on Dr. Suess
Aluminum or tin can oxidize and die food a green-ish color. Military K-rations used to be stored in tin, and after a while they would be tinted green.
The story Green Eggs and Ham was written by Dr. Suess in 1960, during the Cold War.
So this is where I’m going: Green Eggs and Ham was a propaganda book about a person who doesn’t want to join the army. Sam-I-Am (Uncle Sam) continually tries to enlist this nameless character (who looks a lot like the Grinch).
